ARBORICULTURAL ASSOCIATION

 

  

 I am a specialist tree consultant,

arboricultural consultant, covering all aspects

of tree work, except forestry and the 

production of pre-purchase reports for houses.

 

I am based in Peterborough, although I

accept commissions throughout the UK,

principally in London, Cambridgeshire,

the Home Counties, the Midlands and

East Anglia.

 

I have extensive experience as a tree expert witness for

both Claimants and Defendants, and regularly give

 

evidence in court. I have experience as a joint

 

independent tree expert witness, and carry out

 

legal aid  work.

 

 

 

 

I have been involved in arboriculture for over 45

years, and have extensive experience as an

independent tree consultant, arboricultural

consultant. I have worked for local government,

the Royal Horticultural Society, and private

industry. I have lectured in arboriculture,

and have been an examiner for the Royal

Horticultural Society and the Royal Forestry

Society.

 

I am one of the Arboricultural Association

Registered tree consultants, arboricultural

consultants. This means that I have been

assessed by the Association, and have shown to

have an in-depth technical knowledge of the

subject, and a broad range of experience

covering all aspects of a tree consultants,

arboricultural consultants, work. 

 

For five years I acted for the Office of the

Deputy Prime Minister as an Inspecting Officer

on Tree Preservation Order Appeals,  which

provided me with a detailed insight into this

topic.
